- UNBC Scholar – Awarded to the top grade 11 student
- Horatio Alger Grade 11 Scholarship
“Scholarships of up to $25,000 are awarded to full-time grade 11 high school students with financial need (family income under $65,000) who have demonstrated integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, a commitment to pursue a post-secondary education, a desire to contribute to society, and a good academic record. The Horatio Alger Association also awards individuals pursuing a certificate or diploma program through its Vocational and Technical scholarships of up to $3,400.”

SD81 Guide to Scholarships and Bursaries
The 2026 SD81 Scholarship Handbook will be published and released in March of 2026. Watch for the submission link to open in May, 2026. Everything you need to complete your local scholarship application package will be in this document, but come see me if you have any questions.
